Which car rental company offers the best service and is the fairest priced in Maui?
sheaalyssa asked:
My husband and 2 children and I are going to Maui in June. We will be renting a car. I’ve never rented a car anywhere before,so I was just wondering if there was much of a difference in price, and service etc. And ,in your expirience, which company you’ve liked best.
Thanks!

I have found the pricing to be best through Avis and Dollar. However, you should run a search on Orbitz.com to see which has the lowest pricing, then either book through Orbitz, or go directly to the cheapest agency’s website, where you may save a few dollars.
Good luck!

Most of them have simular prices, it all depends on what you want to drive but budget, avis, hertz all have about the same price. I went with budget on my last trip. If you book with a travel website you can get a discount if you book together with your hotel and flight. Just for your FYI if your kid is 7 or under they have to be in a booster of safety seat. One more thing don’t go to Maui if you’ve never been to Hawaii before, go to Kauai it’s a much better Island or try the big Island of Hawaii and see the Volcano it’s awesome.

I usually rent through Thrifty or National when I go to Maui. I’ve found that they have lower prices than some of the other companys.
I’ve also found that visiting the website of the rental company often offers lower prices than booking through a travel site such as expedia, travelocity or orbitz.

I would have to say thrifty. Just came back from maui this past weekend and a standard car was going for $19.00 a day plus taxes. That is really good compared to other companies. Check out
