Trying to transport a pet rabbit from Maui, Hawaii to the Continential US?
staticolor asked:
I am moving from Maui to Connecticut in May, and I am trying to bring my pet rabbit as well. Does anyone know of affordable ways to have the rabbit shipped without it being on a flight with me?
Thanks.

Different airlines will charge different rates. I don’t know if they would “ground ship” a live animal. I would say take it with you, but you don’t want to. I KNOW you can have it shipped to come after you or arrive before you and someone can pick it up. I’m just not to sure about pricing. You’ll probably have to contact the airlines directly OR check with a “mailing system” to fly it over. (By the way I live on O’ahu).

No matter what, carring your bun as a carry on is the cheapest way to go. A great site to get quotes is going to UShip.com. You can post a free add and get quotes from reliable shippers with no obligation to use them.
