Spanish Speakers, Please Help me! Muchos Gracias?

Ok, well for a spanish project, I have to write sentences about a vacation i went on in the past. I have the sentences written out, but i need some help making sure there gramatically correct. I have the sentence written, then what i’m trying to say underneath. Please help, and Thank you!

1) Mi familia y yo fuimos a la Hawaii en 2006.
My family and i went to Hawaii in 2006.

2) Nosotros fuimos a la Maui y Kaui.
We went to Maui and Kaui.

3) Nosotros buceamos en el mar.
We scuba dived in the sea.

4) Yo comprí recuerdos, como llaveros y camisetas.
I bought souvenirs, like key chains and t-shirts.

5) Yo tomí el sol mucho.
I sunbathed a lot.

6) Nosotros viajamos en un avión.
We traveled by airplane.

7) Nosotros saltamos una catarata.
We jumped off an waterfall.
8) Yo vi un tortuga grande.
I saw a big turtle.

9) Yo vi mucho peces.
I saw a lot of fish.

10) Nosotros descansamos mucho en un hotel.
We relaxed a lot in the hotel.

    10) Nos relajamos mucho en un hotel.( descansar means to rest, but it is still fine that way)

    Remember that 2006 is “dos mil seis”

    We went to Maui and Kaui.

    3) Nosotros buceamos en el mar.

    4) Yo compre’ recuerdos, como llaveros y camisetas.
    I bought souvenirs, like key chains and t-shirts.

    Descansar is fine because it means to relax, rest, etc.
