Hawaii as a honeymoon?
rima331 asked:
Advice please from people that have been to Hawaii, my fiancee and I are thinking of honeymooning there (and possibly having the ceremony if it is easy and cheap and nice enough). What islands are the best? what are the worst? I want to see the islands that show the true way of the land, not just a how with leis for people from the 48 states. I heard Oahu(sp?) is nice, but I also heard that maui and Waikiki are really hyped up and nothing special.

Oahu is nice but I’ve always wanted to go to Asia myself. Mainly be one with eachother. Don’t get lost.

you really cannot have both ways of having the feeling of the true islands and the hawaii that you see in the tourist brochures but to play it safe just go to island of oahu and for 2 weeks try to get as much of the sightseeing, shopping, etc that you do like to experience. no you will not be bored if you are in a honeymoon because i m pretty sure that your newly wedded husband will find things to do that you don’t even have to spend a penny, if you know what i mean and that you sure will enjoy and bring you feeling of being in heaven. ( if u know what i mean!)

My husband and I went to Hawaii on our honeymoon last October. We did and NCL cruise for 7 days and it was wonderful. Kawaii was my favorite island, but Maui has a lot to do. Honolulu is just a big city. I really liked getting to visit all the islands on the cruise.
