bratty friend? bragging?

so, i have a “friend” and lets call her lucy. Lucy always brags and is such a brat! for example, instead of saying im going to maui this summer, its im going to a 5 star hotel in maui this summer and its all inclusive and blah blah blah. Her mom is a brat to and is so snobby.
Lucy, me and our other friend were making a dance for the talent show once, and she said to us, my mom thinks i should enter the talent show with someone more expirenced.

also, i am not jealous. I know everyone brags once in a while, but she does it 24/7

if she is your true friend then let her know that you do not like her bragging and try to fix the problem with her and see where you guys go from there.

you should teach her a lesson about bragging by bragging yourself she’ll eventually get annoyed by this and when she confronts you, you can explain to her you were only doing it to show her what you go through on a daily basis when you have to sit and listen to her brag all day long. Hopefully she’ll realize that its not nice to brag all the time cause it gets really annoying after awhile and this will cause her to eventually stop doing it.
